We were pleased to be invited by the Camelot Pride Network to talk about our work just after World AIDS Day 2021.

In the session we set out the National HIV Story Trust’s work and heard Chris Sandford’s personal story. We regularly speak to organisations as part of our educational outreach, seeking to tackle stigma and increase understanding through sharing the stories we collect.

Here is some of the feedback we received:

“It was the most moving session I’ve ever attended at Camelot. It was a privilege to hear it.”

“The stories and the strength of Chris and Paul was incredible. It was very informative too, but just so emotional.”

“Genuinely great from start to finish.”

“This was by far the best thing I have attended at Camelot.”

“Hearing about experiences from those who were there is such an effective way of building knowledge and connecting with what people went through.”

Thank you for hosting us, Camelot!

Your generous support helps us to secure, preserve and protect the stories of the HIV and AIDS pandemic. In doing so, we can ensure the stories continue to be retold to younger generations, including through the arts and education.
