Earlier today the National HIV Story Trust took on the annual World AIDS Day ‘Red Run’.

Our team of walkers and runners completed the 5km and 10km walk/run and, including offline donations, together helped us pass our £2,000 fundraising target!

We were joined by Frankie O’Reilly who was also our nominated Community Hero. Frankie is one of our 120+ interviewees whose life, from The Troubles in Ireland to the streets of London, is mesmerising. Frankie recently gifted the NHST his precious and unique collection of over 9,000 photos covering much of LGBTQ+ life.

Thank you to everyone who ran for NHST, to everyone who sponsored our charity, and to Positive East for their work organising a fantastic day.

The NHST fundraising page is still accepting donations. If you are able to help us continue our work collecting, securing and telling the stories of the HIV and AIDS pandemic you can sponsor us here.

Thank you!
