For Pride Month 2020, NHST founder Paul Coleman wrote about the importance of archiving LGBT+ history for Openly, a Thomson Reuters Foundation Initiative.
Paul wrote that we often do not appreciate when we are living through history, particularly as ordinary people going about our lives. But it is for this reason that we have to capture it: understanding how events impact on ordinary people.
